TE TIRITI TALKS
Understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi - The Treaty of Waitangi

Join us for an engaging and accessible talk exploring Te Tiriti, the historic agreement signed in 1840 between the British Crown and over 500 rangatira Māori.
This informal but structured kōrero provides a space to better understand the dual meanings of the English treaty and the te reo Māori tiriti, the different expectations they created, and the ongoing challenges and opportunities for resolution in Aotearoa.
